
SHORT FILMS COMPETITION RULES
Vébron International Film Festival 2024
Article 1
The festival is open to all kind of filmmakers, professional or amateur.
Only shorts films of theses categories are accepted : fiction, documentary or animation.
Commercials, institutional videos or adds will be refused. A director/producer can submit several films.
Article 2
The maximal lenght of a submitted film, any category, credits included is strictly 30 minutes.
Article 3
Only the films produced after 2022 January 1st and meeting requirements of this settlement can be accepted.
Article 4
Every film had to be submitted in French version or international version french subtitled
(VF and VOSTFR).

The film has to be submitted before the april 15th 2024 deadline.
Article 7
Submition fees are 15€ per film (excluding « timbre » cost on the ShortFilmDepot platform).
Article 8
Jury members are not allowed to submit a film in competitions they are involved in.
Article 9
Organizers undertake that the films won’t be cut or be altered while their screening on the competition.
Article 10
Selected films by pre-selection committee will be screened at the official competition.
The films awarded by the jury and the public during the festival will be awarded in order to encourage creation, innovation and research.
Article 11
The Ecran Cévenol association has the right of conservation, without time limit, of any film sent to the Vébron Festival.
Article 11 bis
The award-winning films can be used for all the activities of the association l'Écran Cévenol, even outside the screening dates initially planned, in particular for promotion purpuse of the event, in various places inside or outside the Lozère department, as well as the association's website, Facebook or other internet platform.
These films may also be transmitted to other partner events, subject to the prior agreement of the directors of the films concerned.
Article 12
Directors or representatives of films who have been selected and who wish to be present at the Festival may be reimbursed for their travel or accommodation costs
up to € 100 upon presentation of supporting documents.
Article 13
The decisions of the organizers, the preselection committee and the members of the jury are final.
Article 14
The validation of the entry of a film to the festival of Vébron implies the acceptance of these rules.
