"A privileged place for meetings and exchanges,
a Festival for all audiences"
But who had this crazy idea one day?
Eternally curious, tirelessly passionate, a handful of young people from Vebron had taken the gamble (33 years ago) to create a cultural event, combining diversity, daring and innovation in a small village of Lozere lost between Causse and Cevennes of only 200 souls. Bet won!
Wrapped by the 7th Art, but viscerally rooted in these Cevennes lands, which they nevertheless wanted to make discover, they created the International Video Film Festival.
Video, an innovative medium, allowed them to highlight this endearing territory by its diversity, its rich past, its splendid landscapes, ... but also to offer quality programs aimed at the general public.
The latter, in clear progression over the years, follows the movement with enthusiasm.
