Ladies and Gentlemen, dear festival-goers,
It gives me great pleasure and pride to welcome you to the 37th Vébron International Film Festival. This year's festival promises to be exceptional, both in terms of the quality of the films presented and the diversity of the talent on show.
Cinema is a window on the world, an invitation to travel and reflect. Our festival stands out for its conviviality and unique atmosphere, where enthusiasts and professionals of the seventh art come together to share moments of passion and emotion.
This year we have the honour of welcoming a prestigious jury of outstanding personalities:
- Vanessa Guedj, actress and singer, who has enchanted us with her talent from her debut in ‘Le Grand Chemin’ to her outstanding roles in ‘Kaamelott’ and on stage.
- Roger Souza, actor, director and scriptwriter, whose impressive career in film and television has made him an icon of French cinema.
- Damien Jouillerot, actor and cartoonist, discovered by Gérard Jugnot in ‘Monsieur Batignole’ and who has established himself as a talented actor with a César nomination.
- Sidonie Groignet, actress, voiceover artist, columnist, clown and costume designer, whose versatility and energy enrich every project she takes part in.
- Arthur Chays, director and 3D animator, whose documentaries and short films have won numerous awards.
We will also have the pleasure of seeing Philippe Du Janerand, a faithful friend of the festival, and Anne Girouard, who will be the master of ceremonies for this 2024 edition.
The Vébron Festival is much more than a film event: it is a celebration of culture, an unmissable event for all cinema lovers, a moment of encounter and sharing for our community.
I would like to thank all the volunteers, partners and sponsors who make this wonderful adventure possible. Your unwavering support is the key to our success.
